--Isaiah 26:3
Keep-
nasar: to guard, to protect
- denotes guarding a vineyard or a fortress
Perfect-
from Webster's Collegiate dictionary
"lacking in no essential detail; complete soundness, the excellence of every part or element; to bring final form"
FLAWLESSNESS-COMPLETENESS-MATURITY
you cannot have perfection, completeness or maturity without the living Christ
Peace-
shalom: "to be safe, complete" adj. well, peaceful, whole, secure, friendly, healthy, sound—also means uninjured.
Mind-
yester: "to frame, to pattern, image, conception, imagination, thought"
Steadfast-
samak: "to sustain, to be braced, to lean upon"
Who are you leaning on? Friends—some come and go or move away. What sustains you? Only Jesus can sustain you truly—everything else that you choose to fuel up on are merely fumes—they are an illusion that all is okay in your life –when really you are in desert condition because you have no living water from the living Christ.
Trust-
"one in which confidence is placed, care, custody"
Final version of scripture with the meanings:
"You will guard me like a watchman guarding a fortress, giving to me safety, soundness and excellence of every part, because You are constructing my thought patterns and my head is leaned over onto You because I place my confidence in You and You have sole custody of me."
